You probably arrived at this site wondering, "What do I need to do to make money online?"      The purpose of this website is to show you how to utilize your computer, Internet connection and unique skills and attributes to make money online.  This is your trusted source for making money online information.  This site will not claim to make you rich quickly online, and it will not take the place of a standard career unless you get quite lucky, but if you are a college kid like me, a stay at home mother, a teenager that doesn't want to work at a fast food chain, or just an individual that wants to make a little bit of cash on the side, this is the place to get your information on making money online.  There are many different ways that you can make money from the comfort of home, I will never be able to list all of them but I will show you which methods which I find to be the easiest. First things first, there is no such thing as "free money" whether you are making money online or in person.  You will not magically earn cash by doing nothing, anyone that says so is trying to exploit you.  However, contrary to popular belief there are legitimate ways to earn money online without exerting overly much effort.  Many of the websites you will encounter if you do separate research, will indeed be scams.  I have spent many weeks testing websites to find legitimate sites that are known to pay their customers, protect information, and allow you to make money.  This website is not liable for the use of any external links to sites from it, although we may try to keep our information up to date and only use companies with proven track records, you should always read the privacy policies and terms and conditions sections of a website.  This is especially true of links you get from websites this site doesn't link you to, while there are legitimate ways to make money online there are also plenty of places that want to make money off of you. By popular demand I'll get straight to my favorite online money making technique, making money by taking surveys.  Most frequently asked question:  Have you actually gotten paid by any of these companies?  The answer to that is a definite yes, I make approximately minimum wage by taking surveys and I've received payment from four seperate companies thus far.  I'll stick a banner to my favorite way to make money online below, I've gotten the highest average payment per survey from them and they have the lowest pay out.  I've averaged $2.5 per survey, which takes me about 20 minutes each and you will make money upon reaching $5, all money carries over each month that you do not meet the threshold.   I enjoy taking these paid surveys not only for the online income source, but they actually can be quite interesting.  A few of the marketing campaigns I've given input on have shown up on television etc. a few months later.  If you're feeling lazy check out this site first, but be sure to visit back for more great easy online money making tips.  Proof of payment included at my blog: Opinion Outpost Proof of Payment. General tips: 1. Use your head!  If something doesn't seem quite right, evaluate it for yourself.  Things are never free, this information may be free to you but that is only because we are paying for the web hosting and domain registration. 2. Use a brower that blocks pop-ups if you head out into other sites just because they are incredibly annoying.  I don't care how much the advertisers pay for that, it is just obscene.  Anyways, I use firefox with the Google toolbar for my own browsing pleasure when going to sites I don't know of to avoid the hassles.  Not to mention that Firefox allows you to use all of the cool web 2.0 things out there such as StumbleUpon. 3. Protect your identity, if you are going to enter a credit card number or enter your phone number to make additional money online, check the privacy policies of the website first.  Websites will never give out things for free, so do your research to see why they are still in business. 4. You never know what a site will be putting on your harddrive, I suggest using free spy ware and virus scanners on a somewhat regular basis.  Personally I use McAffe and Ad-Aware on my computers.  A good free virus scanner is Avast, you can find many useful tools using the new Google Pack. 5. If an offer seems too good to be true, it probably is.  The higher the yield for something, the higher the amount of research you do on a companies background should be.   6. Learn where to place your trust, some websites have a proven track record and as result can for the most part be trusted, while others may borderline and do what they can to stall payments, etc.  Unless you find a company that will actually pay out, you will not be making money online just wasting time. 7.  Never pay to receive lists of sites to make money, there are free unbiased resources on the web.  I originally got the idea to make this website as a result of seeing these websites advertised, and if there truly are sites that will benefit the average person I want them to be able to enjoy them for free.  Don't pay to take paid surveys or paid e-mail either, these are almost always scams and at a minimum they are not worthwhile. Making money online is easy even without initial investment if you go to the sites listed. 8. Have fun!  I am quite happy that I began researching ways to make money on the Internet as I make cash on the side while doing what I love.  From concept to website took 100+ hours of initial research and by this point there is probably around 200 hours of research into the various sites as well as the creation of a website.
